The gameplay focuses on combo-based combat.

The story takes place in the far future, and the plot revolves around the conflict between powerful corporations and people living on colonized planets. The players take on the roles of soldiers piloting the eponymous Titans, which are huge, armed mechs. The game features only a complex multiplayer mode, allowing for up to 12 players to participate in a single online match.

The PC version was created by Traveller's Tales, while the console and handheld editions were made by Vicarious Visions. The plot of Transformers: The Game is loosely based on the story told in the film. In the game we can control both Autobots (Optimus Prime, Ironhide and Bumblebee are at our disposal) and Decepticons (in this case we play as Megatron, Barricade or even Starscream).

The main character of the game is a young accountant named Wesley, endowed with supernormal abilities to use weapons. This time the action takes us to the titular city of gambling, which has become a hotbed of dangerous terrorist outbreaks. In terms of mechanics, the game is a continuation of the line started in Rainbow Six: Lockdown, where meticulous tactical planning was abandoned in favor of more dynamic action.

The gameplay resembles two-dimensional platformers, with the difference that our character is solidly armed. The authors have prepared a campaign for a single player, as well as a cooperation mode for two people.
