Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee! is an RPG designed for the Nintendo Switch console. The player travels the three-dimensional world with the eponymous partner and catches other monsters, trains them and puts them into turn-based battles with the creatures of other characters. The production was conceived as an introduction to the series for newcomers, who are deterred by the more complicated main installments of the series, although it also offers a lot of fun for veterans.

As we play, we move around the game map (we observe the action from a bird's eye perspective), gather resources, manage our army, and fight with our opponents. Exploration, both on land and sea, plays a crucial role in the game.

When working on their game, the developers have drawn their inspirations from the 1980s horror movies and at the same decided to mock their cheesy themes. The player assumes the role of a psychopathic murderer tasked with killing the teenagers who relax on their summer holidays. The maps are relatively small and composed of square fields.
