A mobile strategy game featuring a turn-based combat system. It was developed by the Risky Lab studio. The action is set in the near future when humans agreed on wars being a method of solving disputes that is simply too expensive. As a result, all military conflicts were transferred into virtual reality in order for special war simulators to replace actual warfare.
Warbits is a turn-based strategy based on the Advance Wars series, which was released on the iOS mobile system. It is a premium production, which means that there are no micropayments.
Story
The game has a simple storyline. The action takes place in the near future, at a time when mankind has recognized that wars are too expensive of a means of resolving disputes. This does not mean, however, that the fighting has stopped. All armed conflicts have moved to virtual reality, where they are played out in so-called war simulators, and it is this type of program that we use during the game.
Mechanics
Warbits, which was released on iOS devices, is a classic turn-based strategy game. There are relatively few units to choose from, but each unit is vastly different and plays a useful role on the battlefield. They were balanced according to simple rules of rock-paper-scissors, which means that they are extremely strong against specific rivals and very weak against others. This system is easy to master, but in reality, it gives a lot of tactical depth.
Game modes
The game offers a storyline campaign that is twenty levels long. There is also a multiplayer option, which allows you to have fun in a variety of modes, such as one-on-one, two-on-two and all versus all for 3-4 people. It is worth mentioning, that each participant in these skirmishes can be replaced by artificial intelligence. In addition, the authors have prepared forty multiplayer maps, based on four different types of terrain.
