As you delve into the depths, you discover the dark history of a family who brought the evil upon the world.

Inspired by the Nordic mythology, a cRPG developed by the independent studio Stoic, whose members worked on, for example, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The action takes us to a world where fratricidal bloodshed between the gods led to chaos and wars. This is an "on the road" type of story, divided into two main plot branches, telling the stories of two Viking parties trying to escape from the threat posed by a mysterious, stone-like race called the Dredge, born as the result of gods’ experiments.

While the original game has been developed by Square Enix studio, the remastered version has been developed by an inside team of Square Enix company. The story takes players to a fantasy world of Spira. The protagonist is Tidus, a sportsman whose home town gets attacked by a powerful creature known as Sin.

It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, a subsidiary of Ubisoft which also collaborated in the development of Far Cry and Assassin Creed games. Child of Light tells the story of Aurora, a young girl who has to save the kingdom of Lemuria. When playing, we influence Aurora's development and witness her rough journey to adulthood.

You play as a quiet wandering warrior named Shiren, accompanied by a talkative ferret called Koppa.

The plot tells a story of the first conflict between humanity and an extraterrestrial civilization. You are in control of a head of the XCOM organization, whose aim is to fend off the invasion of aliens and figure out their technology.

RPG canceled

A turn-based RPG focusing strongly on strategic aspects and created by Pixelated Milk - a Polish developer. The player is taken to a peaceful fantasy world and assumes the role of Kay Loren - a young nobleman whose father reveals on his deathbed the existence of a distant land belonging to their family. Once the protagonist arrives in the place, it turns out that the entire land is ruined and the family was charged with a large debt.

In this game we lead a unit of space marines from the Legion of Blood Angels, who have to explore the wreck of the giant ship Sin of Destruction, where the presence of a biological race of genocrades has been found.

The game was developed by Gust - a studio popular mainly for the Atelier series, which encompasses several installments. The game is set in contemporary Japan. Hinako, the protagonist, is an ordinary girl who attends high-school, but one day she is taken to an alternative dimension inhabited by dangerous monsters.

The protagonist has to face an evil demon, but he is not on his own - gods known as Grimoa have offered their assistance and several other daredevils join Eil along his path. The player explores diverse locations, completes quests and fights various enemies, gradually improving their combat potential.

Once again, we take control of Zack and a group of his friends, who embark upon a journey to a distant world of Archelio. When our hero gets struck with a magic curse, the rest of the team has to help him in lifting it. Unfortunately, the party had lost all of its equipment, while the land is plagued by a god-like being whose origins are a subject of a mystery.

An independent retro RPG, which combines elements of a detective game and a horror. The main protagonist of Pixel Noir is trying to solve a mystery of the tragic events from a decade ago when his partner died, leading to him quitting work as a police officer, as he unjustly was sentenced to jail. After being released, he begins to work as a private detective and tries to solve minor cases, until finally, he finds a lead that might help him get the answers that have been taunting him for years.

A hybrid of a visual novel and a tactical role-playing game. The title was developed by studio Leaf and company Aquaplus. The game is a direct sequel to Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and tells the further story of Haku and his friends who are tasked with assuming control of the military forces of the Yamato Empire and using them to protect the territory from hostile neighbors. Like before, long visual novel sequences are intertwining with very short tactical battles.

A tactical jRPG with a turn-based combat system. It was developed by the French studio Kobojo in cooperation with Kazushige Nojima and Hitoshi Sakamoto who previously worked on several installments of the Final Fantasy series. The story of Zodiac: Orcanon Odyssey takes place in a fantasy world divided into four regions inhabited by various races. The player becomes a young warrior named Cael who leads a patrol that neutralizes threats from potential enemies.

A hilarious cRPG with cartoonish graphics, developed by an independent Canadian studio - Eden Industries. The player assumes the role of the world's vice-president. Having won the elections, the protagonist returns to their hometown and discovers that the neighbouring forests are filled with bizzare creatures that came into being as a result of mysterious genetic experiments.

Strategy canceled

A stylish game developed by Team Colorblind, an independent studio based in Phoenix, Arizona. The game combines elements of two seemingly incompatible video game genres – turn-based strategy and brawler. The story is set 20 years before the Spanish Conquistadors came to America, and the player is tasked with expanding the Aztec empire, collecting taxes, and handling various randomly generated events.
