Men of War: Vietnam

The third standalone expansion for Men of War, a real-time strategy game. Similarly to the vanilla game and its two previous add-ons, it was developed by Best Way. This time around, the players can take part in the Vietnam War, fought in years 1955-1975 by US-backed South Vietnam and North Vietnam, supported in turn by the Communist Bloc. Both sides of the conflict have their separate story campaigns. The missions we have to complete include rescuing American prisoners, taking over important strategic points, and eliminating enemy officers. The title also lets us participate in historical events, such as ambushes on the Ho Chi Minh trail or defending a bridge during the Tet Offensive. Men of War: Vietnam gives the players control of a squad of several specialized units, while the gameplay itself is focused mostly on performing silent and precise missions.

A sequel to the 2002 online multiplayer FPS game developed by DICE. As its title suggests, Battlefield Vietnam takes place during the Vietnam War, allowing you to play as a member of the U.S. Army or a Vietnamese soldier, and participate in the series of battles spanning from 1964 to 1975. The mechanics of the game are virtually the same as its predecessor's, being a combination of strategy with FPS elements. The players are divided into two teams, and the objective of each is reducing the opposite teams' tickets to zero by killing the opponents or capturing their flags. Just like in Battlefield 1942, you can play as a soldier of your chosen class and use various military vehicles. Singleplayer fans can also test their mettle against AI-controlled foes.

A first-person perspective rail shooter based on the Rambo movie series. The game was developed by Polish studio Teyon Games known for its Heavy Fire series. The story campaign in Rambo: The Video Game consists of a series of missions inspired by movies First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III. The player can fight soulless law enforcers in Hope city, free the captives held in Vietnamese jungle and help the Afghan guerillas. The base of the game are dynamical sequences during which the player must eliminate opponents by guiding a crosshair on them and pulling the trigger. The developers created various weapons which the title character can use. They also used original dialogues from the movies.

Conflict: Vietnam is another product from the series, the two preceding parts of which dealt with the war in the Persian Gulf region - a reference to the first American Iraqi operation (early 1990s), codenamed the Desert Storm. This time the action was moved further east and deeper into the past, because the plot represents the most intensive phase (1966-1969) of the United States military intervention in Vietnam.

Developed by Tripware Interactive in cooperation with Antimatter Games, an FPS which is a continuation to Rising Storm. As the title suggests, the action takes place in Vietnam, where you assume the roles of American or Vietnamese soldiers. The mechanics do not differ considerably from those in the previous installment and once again emphasize realism. Due to the different historical period and realities of the conflict presented, the game now features choppers, booby-traps, and machine guns. Soldiers of each fraction differ not only in fighting style, but also in equipment. The creators provided new unit system that allows for bigger control over the player's squad. Rising Storm 2: Vietnam introduces multiplayer for up to 64 players.

The expansion casts the players into the harsh reality of the titular Vietnam War and features five entirely new maps, none of which lacks the distinctive elements of the said conflict. Therefore, the countless trenches, tunnels, and narrows will make for excellent locations in which you can ambush your opponents. The players have also received numerous additions into their arsenal, namely 15 new weapons from this particular era of warfare and 6 previously unavailable vehicles. Competitive games can take place in several modes introduced in the vanilla version of the game; however, the new equipment and a different setting have somewhat influenced the slightly distinct style of skirmishes, which now favors fast-paced battles in close quarters. Battlefield: Bad Company – Vietnam has been fully integrated with the base version of the game, which means that all of the acquired experience and commendations will be added to the already existing player account.
