Developers from Interactive studio have prepared a total of 30 missions to complete. The game is the first RTS that uses a 3D graphics engine.

Defcon is the third project of developers from Introversion Software studio, who are behind the creation of Uplink: Trust is a Weakness and Darwinia. The inspiration for this game was undoubtedly the 1983 film War Games (WarGames), and more specifically the scene where the local supercomputer conducted numerous simulations of the global nuclear conflict.

The main highlight of the gameplay is taking care of the country’s budget, which is fed by resource mining and production of various goods. The citizens’ happiness is also an important aspect.
