Everything happens on a virtual table, with us playing a card game in front of The Dealer. We travel through locations by moving a pawn representing our hero on the table and revealing cards that depict enemies, NPCs, locations, and other elements that make our adventure.

The game continues the story of a very attractive witch who has to fight the forces of good and defeat legions of enemies. The game features dynamic action and an interesting combat system.

Similar to its predecessor, it is a spin-off title in the Dragon Quest franchise by Square Enix, and although it retains a similar atmosphere, it offers several new solutions. The plot of Dragon Quest Heroes II references the events of its predecessor. Despite the lack of any direct links to the core Dragon Quest productions, there are a few familiar faces to see here.

Gauntlet: Slayer Edition is a new incarnation of a dungeon crawler released on arcade machines in 1985. The players enter a fantasy world, and their task is to explore grim dungeons inhabited by dangerous monsters (giant spiders, armed skeletons), or even ghosts.

The title was initially released on PC, then published on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U as an expanded edition called Jotun: Valhalla Edition featuring an additional game mode. Players are told the story of a Viking warrior named Thora who died an inglorious death. Before she passes through the gates of Valhalla, she needs to prove her worth to the Gods.
