The story of Wolfschanze: The Final Attempt was inspired by historic events – the player assumes the role of count Klaus Schenk von Stauffenberg, a German military officer that attempted to assassinate Adolf Hitler in order to dispose the Nazi party of power and stop the war. As we know from history, the plot was unsuccessful, but the game offers an alternative, more spectacular version of the events.
