Special Forces is the official extension for Battlefield 2, focusing entirely on reflecting elite special forces combat which is so radically different from the regular troops battles. It allows you to assume the role of a soldier of one of the six factions, which are: Navy SEALs, SAS, Spetsnaz, MEC Special Forces, rebels, and insurgents. Just like the original, we are fighting opponents in one game mode, which is the Conquest.

The extension offers its buyers several new battlefields, allowing, among others, to fight in urban areas, airport, or on night maps using night vision which is a new piece of equipment. The arsenal of weapons was also enriched with 12 new tools of extermination, such as SCAR-L and SCAR-H assault rifles, designed for the American army.
