During a picnic in New York's Central Park, gangsters killed his family: his wife and two children. Now Frank Castle, as the ruthless guardian of the law, The Punisher fights crime. This is how the story of the protagonist of the famous Marvel comic book series, treating the adventures of an avenger working under the cover of the night, is presented in a nutshell. The same story served as the foundation of a computer game in which every user can embody Frank's skin and administer justice to the perpetrators.
The aim of the game is to kill Kingpin, a New York criminal king who took an active part in the murder of Punisher's family. In order to receive a specific location of the villain's headquarters, the player must first pay his informant. The price for the news about Kingpin is not small - 500 thousand dollars. In order to earn such a sum of money, Punisher must work as a rewards hunter and grasp the bandits sought after by the police. To make it not too easy, he has only fourteen days to do so.
The operating center is located in a separate warehouse under the care of a man called a Microchip. In fact, he is Frank's only friend, and in addition, he is looking for revenge on his murdered son. Micro is a top class electronics technician and it is he who prepares all the gadgets necessary for Punisher to "work". In the Paragon program, it will also search for information about criminals for whose extermination the player will receive substantial cash. After getting to know the purpose of the mission, you should go to the indicated address. The easiest way to do this is to give the coordinates of the streets you are looking for, but if you feel strong, you can steer the van yourself and find a location you are interested in. The car is driven in a similar way as in the Test Drive games, observing the route from behind the wheel. In The Punisher, orientation in a dense network of streets is extremely important, so check the crossroads you pass by carefully.
After reaching the place, we enter a building occupied by bandits. We observe the action from above, and our task is to stop all the villains, saving civilians, of course. The player has at his disposal a rich arsenal of means of extermination, including M-16 rifles and grenades. When spitting out bullets, remember that the magazine is not without a bottom and sometimes you need to reload the weapon. In addition to the mission in the buildings, Punisher also fights several underwater battles. Some of the scenarios can be found out using a hearing aid set to the frequency used by the police, which is in a van. Sitting behind the wheel we will also have to fight several duels in the streets.
The Punisher does not impress with its audio-visual setting, but it is not the one that determines the power of this programme. In fact, the Paragon product defends itself with interesting missions, the ability to control the car itself (which is a big challenge in itself) and a lot of interesting amenities that allow you to run a successful business on the ground.
