The Amazing Spider-Man is a game by Paragon Software, entirely based on the title comic book, which tells the story of the popular Spider Man. This time our hero has to face the plans of the master of illusion - Mysterio - who, after accidentally discovering the true identity hidden under the mask of the heroes, kidnaps his beloved, Mary Jane Watson. The player's main task is to penetrate the building where the villain is hiding and to liberate the defenseless woman.
Our hero is directed with the keys of the cursor. According to the spirit of the American comic book, Spider-Man can stick to all planes, including walls and ceilings. In addition, the player has a spider's network, through which he can cover longer distances or wake up to reach hard to reach places. An army of robots stands in the way of the hero (it should not be forgotten that Mysterio is an outstanding designer of electronic machines), with whom contact deprives us of valuable life energy. Most opponents can be stopped for a moment by hitting them with a spider web. The game practically boils down to one. When bypassing enemies, you must reach the buttons, the launch of which opens the passages to the next stages. Initially, this is not particularly difficult - later more and more "disturbances" appear, and moreover, complicated interior design makes it difficult to move around using the network.
The game does not knock on your knees with its audio-visual setting, but it is made in a decent style. The only drawback is the character of the main character, who moves a little sluggishly and reacts with a delay to the commands given.
