Another installment of a strategy-simulation game series called Emergency, in which the player gets to control fire brigade, police, emergency medical services, and technical services units and face catastrophes, natural disasters, and accidents. The game is a compilation of the best elements featured throughout the series for over 20 years. This results in ten classic missions, which have been remastered, as well as story campaigns from Emergency 5, Emergency 2016, and Emergency 2017.

Firefighting Simulator is another game from Astragon Entertainment, a studio that specializes in simulations. This time, we take the role of a firefighter and take part in various rescue operations where we have to put out fires and take care of the aftermath of other calamities. Action is presented from a first-person perspective. We do our job in many various locations: detached houses, mansions, public buildings, and factories. Firefighting Simulator was created in cooperation with Rosenbauer Group, one of the leading manufacturers of firefighting equipment. Thanks to that, we use the same equipment as the real firefighters, including the Rosenbauer TP3 Pumper firetruck. The game uses Unreal Engine 4 which makes its visuals truly stunning.

A simulation game developed by German company Aerosoft. In Emergency Call 112 - The Fire Fighting Simulation the player assumes the role of a firefighter posted to a fictional city, which is open for exploration. As you play, you take part in a various rescue operations – starting with road accidents, through cleaning toxic spills, to putting down fires of houses and industrial compounds. Each crisis is generated procedurally and may take place both outside and inside buildings. In your work you make use of a variety of tools (such as hoses, mobile lifts and ladders), but the success depends not only on the proper use of equipment at hand, but also on the coordination of your entire team. The characteristic feature of Emergency Call 112 - The Fire Fighting Simulation is its far-reaching realism – the game developers consulted firefighters from Mülheim, Germany, which helped them faithfully recreate the equipment and vehicles (spearheaded by LF24) used by them. As for graphics, it may not be the game’s biggest strength, but the players may like the design of firefighters’ trucks and the realistic way in which the fire spreads.

The publisher of the game is the German company Rondomedia which specializes in this type of productions. They have created the popular Euro Truck Simulator series. The title allows you to play through several scenarios in which you undertake a number of tasks of increasing difficulty - from controlling a small fire or securing an accident scene to complex and extensive rescue operations.

An arcade game with roguelike elements, developed by Laughing Jackal. You play as Blaze Carruthers, a fireman from London, whose task is to take care of the fire in a skyscraper. To achieve that, he has to go up sixteen floors and eliminate the threat with a fire extinguisher and a fire-axe. The levels are randomly generated, which makes every gameplay a unique experience. The protagonist has to face many dangers during his fight with the fire, and time does not work in his favor: while he ventures upwards, the fire spreads over more and more objects. The environment is fully destructible, which only makes everything more difficult. To manage the situation better, you can use the abilities you gain during the exploration and items, which temporarily make the extinguishing process more effective.

All this takes place in an open world.

Airport Firefighters: The Simulation is the third game in the Airport Firefighters series developed by the German studio Visual Imagination Software GbR. We play as a member of the elite firefighting unit that fights with fires on an airport. We observe the game from the first-person perspective. As we play, we control one character who has to get to the fire location by, for example, driving a fire truck. Then, we get the necessary tools and do our job. We will have to not only extinguish fires, but also move around burning buildings, watch out for many obstacles, move objects, or force our way through ventilation systems. In case of emergency, we can use an axe to clear our path. We fight fire with a fire extinguisher and a sprayer. We will have to take down fires in different parts of the airport, like the passenger terminal, inside of a plane, or the office. The game offers many different fire trucks.

Production takes a realistic approach to its subject matter and requires the observance of protocols and the use of specialist equipment.
