Flame Over Description
Flame Over is a platformer roguelike game developed by Laughing Jackal.
The player assumes the role of Blaze Carruthers, a firefighter from London, whose task is to stop the fire raging in one of the English skyscrapers. He has to go through sixteen floors and put out fires using a fire extinguisher and an axe.
The subsequent levels are randomly generated, therefore each playthrough is different. The protagonist has to face all kinds of odds on his way up, as flames start to consume more elements of the building. The game environment is fully destroyable which can produce additional obstructions. Fighting fire can be made easier thanks to special powers obtained with the progress made, as well as items that offer temporary boosts.
The game allows to save a randomly generated levels. That way, the players can somehow compete with each other by means of playing the exact same level. Flame Over also offers a separate mode called Time Attack, as well as a level editor.
