Bodycam is an online FPS and the debut game of a French indie team, Studio Reissad.
Mechanics
Bodycam is a first-person game focused on fighting other players. There are various available arenas, such as abandoned houses and warehouses.
To succeed, we must learn the maps, work together with our teammates and make good use of our equipment. In addition to firearms, such as pistols and machine guns, we can also use helpful drones.
Game modes
Bodycam only supports multiplayer. The primary mode is team deathmatch, where two teams compete to gain a higher score.
Technical aspects
Bodycam runs on the Unreal Engine 5. The developers tried to make the graphics photorealistic .
The in-game camera imitates the titular bodycam, a kind of video recorder used by law enforcement and the military. The dynamic lighting, subdued color palette, various effects and filters (such as vignetting and "grain") play an important role here.
