A few minutes after a release, Bodycam gathered 14 000 people (via SteamDB) and this number will probably be even bigger in the future. This early access title is a success probably greater than developers have predicted. Because of that many players report problems with servers. Let’s talk about it.

Server Issues in Bodycam, problems with joining lobby

While many fans are already in game, not all of them have a luxury to say the same. The reason is quite simple – developers did not predict properly the number of fans interested in the title. As of now, you can’t do much with that. Of course, you may check your internet connection and whitelist the game in your antivirus, but there is a slim chance of success. At this point, you have to be patient and try to reconnect to servers. Try a few times and wait for developers to fix the issue.

If you want to be up to date, we recommend the official Discord channel. Once there, you should look for Info thread. There, Developers publish useful information. It is also a good place to report issues, so check it out. They have also commented the server situation:

Servers are struggling a little bit from the more than 10.000 players currently online. It should get better soon!

We should remember that Bodycam was released as an early access. Moreover, it was developed by a small team. Very often, this combination means various technical issues. For now, we should be patient. Hopefully, creators will take care of all technical difficulties as soon as possible.

It is also important to remember that today’s release is only for PC players. If you would like to enjoy Bodycam on a console, you should read a separate article on this topic.
