The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world and focuses on a group of survivors who are trying to stay alive in a dangerous environment. The player controls two characters: Yannem, a boy with Asperger’s syndrome, and Ani, his faithful dog companion.

While originally the titles were PC exclusives, Amnesia: Collection has been released only for PlayStation 4 console. Its add-on, Justine, puts us in a role of a woman who is part of a psychological experiment.

Gameplay is based on exploration (on foot or by boat) in search of any items that could give the boy some relief.
