Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth

A real-time strategy game developed by EA Los Angeles. The title takes place in the fantasy universe of Middle-Earth created by J.R.R. Tolkien. The game allows the players to participate in two separate campaigns in which they can lead one of 4 nations: riders of Rohan, soldiers of Gondor, army of Isengard and legions of Mordor. Each nation has its advantages and weaknesses.
Warrior Kings: Battles

Official addition to Warrior Kings' real-time strategy. The action takes place 100 years after the events described in the basic version of the game. After the death of Artos, the land of Orbis lost its political cohesion and divided into a number of provinces that were at odds with each other. The player again has to take matters into his own hands and unite Orbis.
Heroes of Might and Magic IV

The fourth installment in a best-selling series of strategy games initiated in 1995 by New World Computing. The game is set in Jadame - a fantasy world the players can associate with Might & Magic VIII. Six factions were included here and each of those has their own towns, different units and technologies. Each of them also has a dedicated school of magic and can hire characters belonging to one race only (Strongholds are the only exception).

The action takes place shortly after the death of Julius Caesar, when Brutus and Cassius fight to restore the splendour of the Roman Empire, and Queen Cleopatra tries to ensure the well-being of her subjects with the vision of creating a great empire in Egypt.
Z: Steel Soldiers

Z: Steel Soldiers is a real-time strategy by Bitmap Brothers. The action of the game was set in the distant future. Players stand on one side of the ongoing conflict between robotic clans, and their task is to conquer resource-rich territories. The game offers, among others, 30 missions in single player mode and the possibility of multi-player entertainment via the Internet or LAN.
Civilization: Call to Power

An alternative version of the cult "Civilization" which was not prepared by the creator of the series, i.e. Sid Meier. In production we play the role of the leader of one of the available nations and we care about its development. The authors decided to introduce a lot of new ideas to the game and at the same time resigned from a few classic solutions. Despite this, the game deserves attention because it contains a large number of units, wonders, buildings and technologies.

An extensive real-time strategy in which we take part in the battles of World War II. The creators prepared three campaigns with a total of 21 missions and more than 15 types of units. The game resembles the Sudden Strike series. The production also includes multiplayer mode and map generator.
Invictus: In the Shadow of Olympus

Combination of RTS and RPG species with full bits derived from Greek mythology. Our task is to gather a team of heroes able to oppose the god Poseidon. The structure of the world is open and allows a lot of freedom in the choice of tasks. On the other hand, fights are very tactical in nature.
Tropico 4

The fourth installment in the humorous series of economic strategy games in which we assume the role of a ruthless dictator of a small banana republic. After the previous developer (responsible for the first installment from 2001) was taken over by THQ, the series was given to Haemimont Games. The main highlight of the gameplay is taking care of the country’s budget, which is fed by resource mining and production of various goods. The citizens’ happiness is also an important aspect.
Full Spectrum Warrior
