An alternative version of the cult "Civilization" which was not prepared by the creator of the series, i.e. Sid Meier. In production we play the role of the leader of one of the available nations and we care about its development. The authors decided to introduce a lot of new ideas to the game and at the same time resigned from a few classic solutions.
Civilization: Call to Power Description
Civilization Sida Meier is considered to be one of the most outstanding games of all time. Its "clone" by the Activision programmers, despite the fact that it was created by a team completely unrelated to the original, was supposed to be a really successful combination of all the advantages of its predecessors and many new ideas. What you can see right away is the use of graphics to measure up to the present day and, above all, the use of a new interface to manage our cities. Unfortunately, the attempt to differentiate "by force" from Sida Meier's game resulted in the abandonment of many interesting ideas from Civilization, and others were changed in a way that was not completely disliked by the fans of the original. Add to this weak AI, bugs, lack of prepared maps and scenarios, it's no wonder that the game didn't gain many fans. The time of creation of our civilization, which we are now creating until 3000, has been significantly extended. Our expansion is not limited only to the surface - we have the possibility of conquering the depths of the sea and space. There are 65 types of units, 80 types of buildings, 35 wonders of the world and 100 technologies at the player's disposal. In addition to the "classic", forceful form of influence on other countries in Call to Power we have other possibilities such as economic or propaganda war or ecological terrorism. The game also includes a scenario editor.
