I do think there is reason enough to experience Atlas Fallen. Especially if you are a fan of the action RPG genre. It may not leave a lasting impression once you’ve completed the adventure, but it will be enjoyable enough along the way to hold your interest.

Atlas Fallen Description
Atlas Fallen is an action RPG by Deck13 Interactive - a German studio known for the first Lords of the Fallen (co-developed with CI Games) and The Surge. The game was published by Focus Entertainment.
Plot
Atlas Fallen is set in a desert fantasy world. We play as heroes traversing this land, discovering its secrets, trying to find a way to defeat an ancient threat.
Mechanics
Atlas Fallen is a third-person game. It features a vast, freely traversible open world. While exploring we'll be hindered by monsters, whom we fight in fast-paced combat encounters. We'll get to wield shapeshifting weapons and use mighty, sand-powered abilities. The former let us dispatch enemies in spectacular ways, while the latter wreak havoc on the battlefield. Alongside regular enemies we'll face powerful, often gigantic bosses. Killing enemies rewards us with essence, which can be spent on developing our characters and adapting them to our playstyle.
Game modes
Atlas Fallen supports singleplayer and two player co-op.

This Sandbox Looks Beautiful, But Its Demo Bored Me Out
The demo version of Atlas Fallen brings unfortunate associations with Forspoken, but on the other hand, it was only a small part of a large action RPG. The game might have enough legs thanks to gameplay, because the lore promises to be quite generic.
