Atlas Fallen Got a Behind-the-scenes Video; New RPG From The Surge Devs
Deck13 has released a video showing behind-the-scenes of development of the RPG Atlas Fallen. The footage also includes many gameplay fragments.
German studio Deck13, known for The Surge, has released an extensive video dedicated to the upcoming action RPG Atlas Fallen.
The footage lasts more than seven minutes and shows behind-the-scenes of the work. It shows concept sketches, statements from various developers explaining the creative process, as well as many fragments of gameplay.
The devs will use their experience from The Surge, but it will not be a simple carbon copy with sci-fi setting swapped for fantasy. The action of Atlas Fallen will be much faster, and the world will be more vertically developed. In addition, instead of cramped locations, we will get large open spaces, which we will traverse at lightning speed, gliding across the sand.
The footage also shows what improvements made since The Surge have been implemented to Fledge technology, Deck13's proprietary engine.
Atlas Fallen will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be released on August 10, this year.
