Enshrouded's Base Building System Looks Amazing
The devs of the promising survival game Enshrouded can boast an impressive base-building system.
Keen Games has released a new video from the survival game Enshrouded. The video focuses on showcasing the impressive base building system.
- The game will offer great building freedom thanks to the use of voxels and the terramorphing mechanic, enabling us to construct any structure both on the surface and underground.
- Players will be able to build by hand, laying block by block, but architectural plans of various larger elements will also be available for those who want to speed up the whole process.
- Thanks to the use of voxels, all elements will fit together, and even when we combine large pieces from the architectural plans, they will be perfectly merged - without any gaps or holes.
- Elements built with the help of the plans can be freely modify later, as well as gain decorations and other objects.
- In the game we will find more than a hundred ready-made objects, such as beds or chairs. It will also be possible to place trophies from killed bosses in the base.
In addition to the buildings themselves, players will also be given the ability to dig in the ground and rocks, for example, to create our own cave or cellar in our castle.
During adventures we will encounter NPCs who will move into our base. We will be able to build houses and workshops for them, so they will help us with the creation of items. There will also be no shortage of farming mechanics.
Recall that Enshrouded is heading exclusively for PC. The game is scheduled to debut this year on Steam Early Access, and version 1.0 should be released in 2024.
Finally, it's worth mentioning that a month ago the developers released another video, which you can watch below - it shows the combat system mechanics.
