Expeditions A MudRunner Game puts into the hands of players two drastically different regions divided into smaller areas - Arizona and Carpathian Mountains. On this page, we will give you tips on how to navigate each of them.

In Expeditions MudRunner, the players have access to 9 maps on which they can navigate. Apart from the first region of Little Colorado, these areas are classified into one of two biomes, which are significantly different in terms of conditions. On this page, we will present the characteristics of the sun-dried, desert Arizona as well as the mountainous and humid Carpathian Mountains. We will also give you some tips that will help you prepare for a mission in a given region.
How to travel around Arizona?
Maps located in sunny Arizona are defined by a dry, desert climate. The raw landscape, crisscrossed by hills, consists mainly of rocks and sand. Vegetation here is sparse, most often in the form of small, dried-up trees. Water reservoirs are rare, and the surrounding ground often transforms into a thick, muddy mixture in which it is easy to sink.
The main difficulty while exploring Arizona will be the sudden terrain changes and the resulting need to find traction on rocky ground. It may be a good idea to reduce the pressure in your vehicle's tires, which will make them stick better to the surfaces.
Driving through the desert also requires navigating around deceptive rocks that jut out from the ground. Drive carefully, as loose stones can damage or even overturn your truck.
A winch anchor will be another essential piece of equipment in the desert. If there are any problems, you might not have suitable spots to secure the rope due to the sparse vegetation. Having the option to establish your own towing point is beneficial.
The self-taught region of Little Colorado, although formally not part of the Arizona region, largely resembles it with its dry, desert climate.
How to travel around the Carpathians?
The European mountain range drastically differs from the sun-scorched wastelands of America. In this region, you'll fight against vegetation. While densely growing trees can be a nice change from the harshness of Arizona, you'll often be forced to make your way through a dense forest, where visibility and maneuverability will be significantly hindered. On the other hand, the trees will be a great point for mounting the winch. Use this opportunity without worrying about the decreasing anchor supplies.
The Carpathians are also defined by water reservoirs. On your way, you'll encounter many lakes, ponds, and swift mountain streams. Remember that staying too long in deep water can result in the engine being flooded and the vehicle being damaged. Before entering the water body, use the sonar to help you find the shallowest place to cross.
In the wild you also have to deal with mud. The humid forests of Europe frequently require careful maneuvering and path selection. Use the winch and have a spare truck on hand, which you'll use to come to the rescue in case of any problems.
