- Use Jetpack wisely. When fighting the Monster, it is one of your basic mechanisms of survival.
- When tracking the Monster, watch out for the regional flora and fauna. Try to avoid any fights, because they will slow you down.
- When you kill an enemy, it dies but doesn't disappear. This means, that when the Monster comes nearby, it will have a free corpse to eat.
- From some minor enemies, you can sometimes collect a temporary buff that will certainly be of use during the final battle.
- Try to follow the Monster's trails and look for startled birds.
- When fighting on the Mobile Arena that you can set up, always try to stay in the middle. Remember that it not only stops the Monster, but also yourself. If you are pinned to the wall by the Monster, your chances of survival will be very low.
- Don't stand too close to one another. Every attack that the Monster performs is an area-over-effect attack.
- Try to take advantage of the shape of the terrain and attack from above or from different sides.
- If you catch the Monster in the first phase of evolution, its is your best opportunity to kill it. Be careful however, because the Monster is also dangerous in this form.
- If the Monster killed three of you and you are alone, you have to run. Don't try to fight it because you won't stand a chance. In the top left corner of the screen, you can see how much time is left until your companions respawn. If you stay outside the Monster's range of smell, it cannot find you.
- Always have your mini-map active to anticipate the Monster's moves. If you're near the edge of the map, it is good to spread into two groups and try to flank the beast from both sides.
- Stay together most of the time. When separated, you are a very easy target for the enemy.
