We've all been waiting for Assassin's Creed set in Japan, but the Japanese installment has come from a completely unexpected direction, from Sucker Punch studio and under the name Ghost of Tsushima. The samurai epic proved to be a smash hit with fantastic atmosphere, plot and gameplay mechanics that did not replicate Ubisoft's mistakes. Instead of overwhelming in size, it offered overwhelmingly enjoyable content.
The game is distinguished by a sensational combat system, with the taunting mechanics turning out particularly fun and satisfactory. You can feel the power of our character all the time, even to the point when enemies can escape rather than face us! The gameplay is complemented by beautiful graphics and such atmospheric details as the black and white "Kurosawa mode." Ghost of Tsushima has proved that there's still room for engaging mechanics and enjoyable gameplay in the somewhat exploited sandbox. Fingers crossed for more samurai games!
It's a really great game for the PlayStation 4, not only as a farewell to the owners of the console but also allowing us to look with optimism for the future – what studios like Sucker Punch Productions will be able to craft for the next generation platform with a much better technology.

The developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator definitely deserve high praise. In an era of console dominance, when once-popular flight simulators pushed back to a deep niche for a handful of enthusiasts, they managed to create a game that brought the genre back to the mainstream. FS 2020 is the first simulator in years to attract the attention of major gaming media outlets, and one of the highest-rated productions of the year.
Asobo made incredible progress, creating a game world covering literally the entire globe, based on real satellite images! This makes virtually every area almost as real and the mandatory point for each player is to fly over their own home. Combined with photogrammetry technology and great aircraft models, Flight Simulator 2020 gives the impression of a truly next-gen title that is ahead of its time and hardware capabilities – just as it used to be with flight simulators in the past.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is not a game for everyone, but everyone should try the gameplay to see for themselves what technologies this game offers.
