For many players Final Fantasy VII was the best showcase title of the first PlayStation. The adventures of Cloud and his companions have saved Square-Enix from bankruptcy, stirred the imagination of fans and murdered a beloved character, which I'm sure everyone knows (but just in case I won't write her name). I wonder if the remake will spare us the sorrow and grief in particular moments of the story. Developers can also do the opposite, and stress the atmosphere in such a way that every player will burst into tears for a few hours.
However, before we experience this in March, we have to remember about one small detail – this is just the first episode of the game which takes place in Midgard. The action-packed videos which provide an overview of real-time combat are simply amazing and jaw-dropping. Enthusiast of the series may remain calm as developers have prepared a special mode that resembles the original Active Time Battle.
If you don't like Japanese fairy tales, then the massive sword worn by Cloud on his back will certainly make you feel more anxious. How he managed to attach such a blade to his back? He has a strong strap wrapped around his neck? Not at all. Game designers have foreseen everything, literally every detail. Well, Cloud has magnets on his back. At least he had then on some early concept arts, because you can't see any magnetic backpack features in the game. Everything can be explained.
