The first showcase of Dreams took place... a long, long time ago. I guess nobody remembers about it today. Anyway, the developers and players can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel, because the title will hit the store shelves on Valentine's Day. Remember to ask your better half for more than a kiss. Of course I mean the game, not what you just thought about (PS5, haha!). Nevertheless, the official release will be the culmination of developers' hard work, and just the beginning of the journey for those who want to extract as much as possible from this unique product.
Because Dreams is a game, or rather a software solution, that can be used to make other games. An obvious expansion of ideas from the three parts of the LittleBigPlanet series, allowing you to construct almost any gameplay mechanics. From simple races (a fragment of the trailer showed crazy WipeOut vehicles), through platformers, adventures and whatever you desire in order to make your heart's content. It's a shame that this production is coming out at the end of console's life cycle, but it's probably just a prelude to the PlayStation 5 version.
The LittleBigPlanet series developed by Media Molecule has created a new mascot of Sony, the Sackboy rag doll. Today it may seem a little dusty and forgotten, but in addition to the three main parts of the series available on PlayStation 3, the franchise has also received three additional spin-offs. These are the following: LittleBigPlanet Karting, as well as mobile Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves, and Run Sackboy! Run!.
