The lies that we tell ourselves – "just five more minutes; I need to get up early." While we don't believe in five-minute sessions before sleep – they don't really work and are actually bad for your sleeping quality – there are situations where a five or ten-minute active break can be useful as diversion. Whether you're commuting to school, sitting in a waiting room, or otherwise need to kill a few minutes of time, there are some games that seem perfect for that. Below, you will find 15 games that are perfect as few-minute breathers.
Rocket League
WHAT EXACTLY WILL YOU DO HERE IN 5 MINUTES?
Each Rocket League match lasts exactly five minutes. From your abilities as a player depends whether a full-time match (in case of a draw, there is some added time) will get you higher or lower in the rankings.
In essence, you're playing caps. Except this is a modernized version – players assume control of remote-controlled cars, with an objective to intercept a huge ball and place it into the enemies' goal box. This is it, roughly speaking, for the basic mode, but there are other games available – hockey, basketball or a dodgeball-type game. Moreover, depending on the selected mode, the rules of gameplay may also change slightly.
These short clashes between vehicle teams are exhilirating and very fun. Let's not forget about various power-ups that change the handling of the vehicle, e.g. give more smashing power or allow performing the so-called aerials, and we have a winner here – Rocket League is great if you have spare 5 minutes. As long as you can limit yourself to one match, as the dynamic character of the gameplay makes avoiding "one more match" syndrome a very difficult task.
