Super Hexagon. 15 games for 5-minute sessions
Table of Contents
WHAT EXACTLY WILL YOU DO HERE IN 5 MINUTES?
There are gameplays of this game on the internet that show 100% completion of it in a little over 10 minutes, but the chance of you doing it is, well, zero. Nevertheless, completing individual levels takes much less time, as it is a few dozen seconds mostly. So there is a chance that you will pass the first level within five minutes or you'll die a few times trying.
Super Hexagon is one of those productions that can induce stress better than work. Next to Osu and Beat Saber, it is the most recognizable rhythm game in the world. The idea is simple – the player assumes control of an indicator that rotates around a geometrical figure – the titular hexagon. The hexagon is approached by barriers that have to be avoided.
The above description only broaches the subject. Add it to the fact that everything takes place to the rhythm of electronic music and the whole playing field – along with its individual elements – changes color often, waving gently. Did I mention that obstacles can be avoided in a skillful way – by finding holes in them? The problem here is that they appear faster and faster, causing stress and sweating at the fingertips. So it's simple in principle, but in practice, it's an insanely complicated game, especially after the first 30 seconds. It takes a lot of dedication and patience to not throw the keyboard around after -th failure. Really.
