WHAT EXACTLY WILL YOU DO HERE IN 5 MINUTES?
For the duration of five minutes, in Superhot you'll complete a few initial stages and learn the basics of the gameplay. Maybe you'll get a few unique and flashy kills. However, if you want to experience everything this title has to offer, you need to take a longer break... or split it into more five-minute sessions.
SUPERHOT is a title whose prototype was created in 2013 as a part of a week-long game jam dedicated to unique FPS games. Three years later, the idea was refined and a game was released thanks to a crowd-funding campaign backed by people interested in this title. What captivated the players? A fresh take packed in an attractive form and the iconic "SUPERHOT" said by the narrator after each completed stage.
The gameplay ofSUPERHOT is organized into levels in which the player has to eliminate all his enemies. The battles in this game look like directly taken from the best action movies featuring Keanu Reeves or Jason Statham. We take weapons from the enemies (both melee and firearms) and use them to cause them a painful and spectacular lesson. What makes this game unique? Time only flows when the protagonist moves. When you remain still, you can track the trajectory of fired bullets, thrown objects, or other instruments of destruction. Thanks to this, the game is extremely dynamic, and when standing still, the player has a chance to plan a spectacular elimination of several computer-controlled opponents.
