Drova: Forsaken Kin looks inconspicuous and will certainly scare away critics of pixel art. The devs want to tell a dark story about the conflict between two feuding factions. They compete for the mystical power of a dead empire, with which one can control the forces of nature. Our decisions are said to play a crucial part in the story as we are thrown into the heart of it.

Drova: Forsaken Kin is very free-form, so the factions aren't imposed from above. We are able to explore the land, acquire new skills from teachers, and also discover the story. There will also be combat (this is supposed to be based on rhythm), as well as crafting. The whole thing has an old-school character, where the player actually has as much freedom as possible.
