On this page of the guide you will find a choice of tips and tricks dedicated for players who are starting their adventure with EA Sports FC 24. The tips broach multiple different topics providing useful information on various aspects of the play, as they often overlap.
Passing
When playing EA FC 24, it is worth planning passes in advance and performing them at a pace so as not to slow down the player's run towards a clear position. If the ball lands behind the recipient's back, it may botch the action, and in extreme cases, the opponent will take control of the ball. Additionally, pay attention if there are enemy players that can block the pass - in such cases, consider other solutions, such as moving the ball back or passing it over the top.

Crossing
In many situations, the traditional overhead cross is the best solution to deliver the ball into the penalty area. When making a cross in EA FC 24 , pay attention to the power of the shot so that the ball does not fly over the players' heads .

Shots on goal
In EA FC 24 you can choose from different shot types:
- classic,
- technical,
- finesse,
- precise (Timed Finishing),
- Power Shot.
If you are just starting your adventure with sports games like EA FC 24 , a classic strong shot (O/B) may be the simplest and often the most effective way to score a goal.

Set pieces
There are several types of set pieces in EA FC 24:
- Throw-ins: try to throw the ball at the feet of a player who is not covered by the opponent. You can also throw the ball in front of a running player so that he can run to it.
- Corners: you can decide to cross the ball into the penalty area or start a short action by passing to a teammate.
- Free kicks: If you have the opportunity to shoot from a certain distance, choose a player with the highest technical skills who is able to perform a powerful and accurate shot.
- Penalties: Penalties are always a lottery, but try not to shoot too hard so that the ball goes past or over the goal. Try to wait for the moment when the focus ring is the smallest and turns green.

Attack
When attacking the opponent's goal , carefully observe the situation on the pitch and plan your moves in advance. If neither player is in an open position, you can manually tell them to move forward to pass (L1/LB). During the action, mix short and long passes, release the ball into the open field, use one-touch passes, shift the weight of the game to the opposite side of the field, attack with the wings to make it as difficult as possible for the opponent to read your style of play.

Defense
Most AI-controlled players are good at defending, but sometimes you will have to take control of your own players to stop the opponent's action. In EA FC 24, it is important to skillfully change players manually in order to get close to the opponent controlling the ball (R1/RB).
When trying to regain the ball, it is best to use the classic reception (X/A or O/B) to avoid fouling. Only make slides when you are sure that you will not interrupt the action with a foul, which may result in receiving a red card.

Technical tricks
There are many technical tricks in EA FC 24, but not all players will be able to perform more complex moves. In many cases, simple tricks such as faking a shot (Fake Shot), rolling the ball to the side (Ball Roll) or moving the ball back and changing direction (Drag Back) may prove to be the most effective. Performing more advanced technical tricks involves a greater risk of failure and, therefore, losing the ball.
