Dyson Sphere Program: Starting space - how to choose? Dyson Sphere guide, tips
Last update: 10 February 2021
On this page of the Dyson Sphere Program tutorial, you will learn how to choose a starting place for your factory.
Once you start the game, you will end up on a procedurally generated planet. The distribution of resources on it is completely random, so you will start in a completely different situation each time.
Instead of starting the expansion at the starting location, search the surrounding area to locate where resources are concentrated in close proximity. You can help yourself by running the resource signatures and going to the planet map. Then you'll have the perfect view. Try to arrange everything in such a way that the factory is more or less the same distance from each deposit.
When determining a suitable location, don't forget to consider Crude Oil deposits. While it won't be useful in the early stages of the game, it will later begin to play a very important role in the production of Red Matrix.
Do the same on each new planet - locate where the resources are concentrated and set up new factories that way. Also keep in mind that with this arrangement, you can fly there with ready-made buildings already in your equipment.
