Dyson Sphere Program: Mech - how to power it? Dyson Sphere guide, tips
Last update: 03 February 2021
On this page of the Dyson Sphere Program tutorial, you will learn what to feed the mech you are operating.
Your primary tool for movement is a mech. It's what allows you to move around, mine resources, and build new structures. However, it doesn't work on its own and needs fuel. If the power goes out, the machine will get slow as molasses.
To avoid this kind of situation, you must constantly supply it with power. The game offers several types of fuels with different types of performance. These are:
- wood (log)
- plant fuel
- coal
- organic crystal
- energetic graphite
The least efficient energy source is any plant-based fuel. Nevertheless, they are commonly available, which makes them a good reserve in case of shortages of other raw materials. Luckily, the need to do this will gradually diminish over time.
To power up the mech, open its panel [1]. In there you have to select the given fuel from the inventory and move it to the energy source field [2].
