Choose the right location for your first base
In the game, you'll find yourself in a procedurally generated world. This means that the planet you start the game on will look different each time you do it. Yes, the climate on each is identical, but the distribution of resources and continents is different.
The mech you move is relatively slow, and its movement consumes fuel. Use the planet view to locate a place where resources are fairly concentrated and start building a base there.
Always carry fuel
The mech you are controlling must be powered up, otherwise, it will not be able to perform any actions (other than movement). To avoid this you need fuel (e.g. coal or wood). Always have these resources in your inventory.
Invest in research as soon as possible
Production offers an extensive technology tree that unlocks new buildings to help develop an increasingly efficient production system. When you enter the special menu, you will be able to see all possible development paths
Plan your base layout
An important role in gameplay is optimal base distribution. It will keep your production chains running smoothly, and you will have no problem expanding further.
Scope out the area you've chosen as a base and, based on the terrain, choose where to place specific buildings.
Check the optimal mine settings
A mine is a building that allows you to quickly extract the raw materials needed for crafting. When you build them, you will see the amount of material that will be extracted. Rotate the structure and find a position that reaches as many of them as possible.
Have storage for excess goods
On the production lines, you'll be putting up warehouses that collect end products from across the chain. However, it is also useful to have storage that is not connected to any chain. It will then act as a storage compartment for excess items from the mech's inventory.
Upgrade the mech
In addition to the standard research, the game also offers an upgrade system. With these, you are able to upgrade the mech. Do this regularly so that the machine can, among other things, move faster or increase its maximum carrying capacity.
