Breathedge: Temperature - how to protect yourself? Breathedge guide, walkthrough
Last update: 15 September 2021
In Breathedge, your character is sometimes exposed to critically high and low temperatures. While low temperatures aren't particularly dangerous, heat can kill you. Here you will learn how to protect yourself from the effects of temperature.
Colder temperatures reduce visibility, which usually won't kill you
To protect yourself from the effects of temperature, you will need to discover the Engineering Suit (not to be confused with the Electrical engineer's suit) by using the Research table in your base (it will be available once you build it in chapter 2 during the main storyline - you cannot build it before then). Unlocking the suit is optional, so you won't get the blueprint as part of the storyline.
The engineering suit is orange-black. You need to wear it to benefit from its effects. However, it won't protect you from electricity like the Electrical Engineer's Suit, which is a far more common environmental hazard - therefore, you should only wear the engineering suit when the situation requires it. As it takes up a lot of room in your inventory, we recommend keeping it in your base. To craft it, you will need:
- resin,
- aluminium x2,
- roll of fabric.
