The Creature | Basics Black and White 2 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Thanks to this being, no menace should create fear in You. His strength and abilities stand up to Your opponents power with ease. I won't hide the fact that he's created mainly for battle since when he participates in building the cities, You can't count on him too much.
As good
The main objective Your creature should have while being good is helping in city duties. Thanks to his abilities (roles) as a builder, gatherer, or entertainer, You'll be able to make a friendly pet. Choosing a certain role makes him do only that ability, that's why once You pick a role, You should place him in a certain area. For example, once You place a couple of foundations and You want Your creature to help the peasants build, choose the builder role and tie him to one of the nearby buildings (a border will show up around him, in which he'll complete the chosen duty).
You can also let him do what he wants to do by choosing the 'free will' role. By observing him and by properly reacting to what he's doing (and he really has a wide array of actions), punish him or reward him. By doing this, You allow or forbid him from doing certain activities. This is how You create his character.
The most useful role that I advise to expand (by buying the next level in the tools bar, in the tribute section) is gathering. Thanks to this You increase the growth of Your stock, which later on You can easily use for building purposes (if Your creature builds, it takes a long time and it's not as effective). Also, You can make him bring raw materials from areas where Your influence line doesn't reach.
As evil
If You wish for his personality to become evil (in a moral sense), use the soldier role to the maximum. His strength is so huge, that in some missions he defeats enemy armies by himself. Your priority should be using Your tribute to level up this role, since its extremely important.
His strength can also be increased by buying him miracles. The miracles destroy big armies with ease. The most useful is probably the fire miracle, thanks to which Your creature can kill from longer distances (eluding damage) archers, which dont even react to him. He can also throw the fire miracle over enemy walls to kill troops stationed there and to damage buildings. The heal miracle is also extremely useful. He uses it once his hit points are low and also on Your units.
The creature is ideal for a defensive wall, of course not to the letter. If Your city is placed in an area where only one road leads to it, You should place Your creature there (by tying him down with the soldier leash) and he'll eliminate all foes coming by.
