LAND FIVE - quests | Walkthrough Black and White 2 Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Monk test
This quest is located right beside Your capital city, on a small elevation. Your task is to help a young warrior destroy some boulders. For this purpose, You need to use the manipulate ability. Press and hold the action button on Your mouse and move the hand so that it goes through the boulder. You have to do it quite quickly, so that the moment the monk hits the boulder, it cracks . At first, dust is going to fly up, after which a bright circle is going to show up (that's when You have the certainty that the boulder will break). You have to destroy three boulders.

Forest Ambush
You will find this quest on a small island, crisscrossed by multiple roads. It's a mini pacman game in which You have to collect 4 parts of a treasure map. The locations of the parts are pointed out on the picture above. Bad guys are going to walk on the roads. You have to manipulate the signs so that You'll evade them (there are six of them). Very useful in this quest is using pause game (default "p" button) and removing the trees - helps to see who's where. I'm not able to guide You through the quest since how it unravels depends on the moment at which You start the quest (from the location of the bad guys). Control the location of the treasure hunter, the one You have to evade the bad guys with.
Reward: 40 000 tribute
Save the lambs
The silver scroll that activates this quest lies not far from the Japanese capital. You'll find out that You have to save young lambs, 25 of them. During their birth, they'll fly up into the air, and You have to catch them before they disappear from Your view. In order to complete the quest, catch at least 20 lambs. Sometimes You'll have to use the 'scoop' ability, since they'll jump out one right after another and there won't be enough time to safely place them on the ground. If You fail, You can redo the quest.
Reward: 40 000 tribute
Enclose town within walls
This quest is a very simple one and basically, inevitable. If You want to complete it, You have to enclose Your first city from the rest of the world. To do so, place walls in the locations pointed out - with red arcs - on a picture in the previous section ('land four - gameplay').
Reward: 15 000 tribute
Take over 3 towns by impressiveness
This quest is mainly for the god of peace. Build up and increase impressiveness in the rear end of Your city, so that You can take over three nearby villages.
Reward: 15 000 tribute
Link 3 of your influence bubbles together
In order to complete this quest, You have to build up Your villages so that the influence lines reach onto each other. The best way is to do it on the first two (plus Your capital) conquered villages.
Reward: 5 000 tribute
Kill every living thing (war)
This quest is a little different than the rest in this section. To complete it, everything that lives on the land has to be killed. Because of the specification of the quest, complete it after You have conquered the entire land, since Your people/armies also have to die (animals also). Burn them with the fire miracle, pick them up using the 'scoop' ability and throw them into the water. If You're patient enough, You'll be properly rewarded.
Reward: 30 000 tribute
Build a wonder (town)
The last different quest, not being 'special', is the obligation to build any kind of a wonder. The cheapest one costs 400 000 tribute, which means its quite an expense. In order to accumulate this large sum, don't use up Your tribute on any thing that You don't need and try to complete as many quests as You possibly can. Some of the tribute comes back since the reward is pretty large itself. Reward: 100 000 tribute |
