Last update: 17 April 2019
Weedcraft Inc has research mechanic. With their help, you can learn what growing conditions you have to meet in order for a given type of marijuana to grow optimally. It also allows genetic manipulation. You will need the right number of points. This chapter focuses on the research mechanic.
How to gather research points?
You can get research points in two ways. The first method requires you to own a laboratory. You can buy this room in your private location. Every once in a while, you will be able to get a lot of research points from this building.
The second method of getting research points is to complete requests. Every completed task rewards you with a specific amount of research points. You can check them in the upper part of the screen.
What can I get for research points?
Research points can be spend on two things. Both refer to the cultivation of marijuana, although they are related to completely different aspects. Below you can find their detailed descriptions.
Discovering cultivation conditions
Each type of marijuana has its own optimal cultivation conditions, which can provide goods of the highest quality. There are five different factors that affect the cultivation process. If you don't want to discover them through trial and error method, spend research points to learn about them.
To do that, you have to click on a herb. Go to the nutrition tab and select "Study Optimal Conditions". This opens a panel where you can study all the values. This is a two-step process. First, you will learn about the range of value. Spend the points again and you will learn the exact value.
Genetic manipulations
The second way to spend your research points is to conduct genetic manipulations. Open the window related to them by clicking on your current amount of research points. There, you will see two options. The first one is density. This option allows you to "convert" your goods. Choose the strain and decide whether you want to get a smaller batch but of higher quality or vice versa.
The second option is for cross-breeding. If you want to create a strain that has the properties of two different types of marijuana, you can combine them in this tab.
