Weedcraft Inc. is an economic strategy set in the modern United States, in which we manufacture and distribute cannabis. While having fun we have to grow plants, manage staff, serve customers and deal with competition and politicians.
Weedcraft Inc. is an economic strategy game in which we produce and distribute cannabis. The project was developed by Vile Monarch studio from Warsaw, the developers of such titles such as Oh...Sir! The Insult Simulator or Crush Your Enemies.
Mechanics
The action of the game takes place in the contemporary United States. The player takes control of a newly opened cannabis sales company. Weedcraft Inc. approaches this subject in a comprehensive way, allowing us to test ourselves in every aspect of this business.
The player has to grow cannabis, try to discover the most effective methods and cross different types of these plants in order to create variants tailored to the tastes of more and more demanding customers. Our responsibilities also include product distribution, hiring staff and fighting the competition.
Success is not easy because, as befits an economic strategy game, the player must learn to balance expenses and revenues. Police officers also pose a big problem for our business; fortunately, the game does not lack illegal methods of making one's life easier, e.g. by bribes or blackmails. Additional attractions are provided by a changing legal system - we manage the company differently when only medical cannabis trading is allowed, and differently when recreational use is allowed; we can also influence legislation. While playing, we also shape relations with a rich gallery of characters.
Players have a lot of freedom. It is possible to bypass the law and develop a business regardless of social costs, as well as to try a fully legal activity. Weedcraft Inc. offers a wide range of scenarios with different conditions and challenges.
Technical aspects
Weedcraft Inc. offers eye-catching graphics made in a slightly caricatured, cartoon style. An interesting element is the soundtrack. Vile Monarch engaged recognized Polish hip-hop producers such as DJ Eprom (Sztigar Bonko, cooperation with Fisz and Emade, or Tym Typem Mesem) and ES.CE to work on the game's soundtrack.

Weedcraft Inc is an unusual creation that is able to attract many players with its theme. It is a solid economic game that offers a lot of possibilities and complexity of gameplay. The game is aimed at players who like a challenge. It's just a shame that the title wasted an opportunity to address the positive effects of marijuana, as well as the potentially harmful ones. Anyway, this is a decent strategy for not too much money, which will appeal to a small group of players.

Weedcraft is unlike any strategy game I’ve had the pleasure to play. It definitely gets a high score despite the mediocre soundtrack and farming mechanics that can prove tiresome in the long run.

Gamepressure Almost Banned in Russia for Weedcraft Game Guide
Roskomnadzor has repeatedly threatened to block our „web-site” in Russia for posting our guide to Vile Monarch's Weedcraft Inc. The same game also reportedly contributed to the banning of Metacritic in the country.
