Legislation in Weedcraft Inc Weedcraft Inc Guide and Tips
Last update: 23 April 2019
In later stages of Weedcraft Inc, you will receive access to legislation. This will allow you to control the laws related to marijuana. Thanks to this, you will be able to regulate the law according to your needs. Unfortunately, this is an expensive process and may not always be successful. Below, you will find detailed information related to this aspect of the game.
Legislation can be accessed from the police station. There are two tabs there. You can propose a new law in one of them. The other one is for controlling the legislative process. They give you control over the whole process.
The proposal of a bill is an expensive endeavor, so you need to carefully consider its shape. There are three types of laws at your disposal: medical, legal and illegal [1]. Each of them has certain parameters that can be determined with its help [2]. When you design it, you will have information about the support of the bill in its current form at the bottom of the screen [3]. The higher the figure at the portrait, the more likely it is that they will support the bill. Therefore, you need to look for compromises to have a chance to win, for example, if you want to legalize advertising, you should increase the percentage from sales.
When you introduce the bill, the legislative process will begin. During the process, you have the opportunity to collect information about the voters. To pass the law, you need 3 out of 5 votes. If you point to the portrait of the representative, you will know what is the probability they'll vote "yes." Avoid activities during this time. Instead, focus on gathering information about the main opponents of your law. Use your employees for this purpose. If you manage to collect dirt on them, you can blackmail them to get the votes you want. You can also resort to bribery. This does not guarantee votes but will increase support.
Leave all these shady actions, however, for the moment when the legislative process will enter the voting stage. Then, you will see the preliminary distribution of votes. At this point, you can still influence them. This will allow a rational assessment of the extent to which intervention is required.
