When performing tasks in Weedcraft Inc. you will accumulate points of influence. They permit you to unlock further perks, e.g. abilities that affect the gameplay. The following part contains information related to this aspect of the game.
How to collect influence?
Influence is gathered for completing main and side tasks. On the order panel you will receive information about the number of influence points you will receive for its completion. It's divided into two types: decent and shady. They are collected separately and unlock other perks. If you collect enough points from a given category, you will be promoted to the next level.
Perks
Collected points of influence unlock new perks. These are various abilities that will offer you improvements and unlock new rooms. Influence points do not translate into the maximum number of perks you can have. You can buy any number of them from the pool of unlocked abilities.
Perks are divided into four categories. Each of them affects the specific areas of activity of your company and the abilities of the character you lead. You must pay a certain amount of cash for each category. Often you must to have other abilities as well - you will be informed about this fact by the connections between the individual perks.
In Weedcraft Inc. you will find the following perk categories:

 | Networking | This category included perks that affect relationships with others. Thanks to them you can collect information more effectively. Additionally, some of these perks will unlock additional dialog options that will enable you to avoid the consequences of your actions. A very useful ability available almost from the beginning of the game is: Veterans donation. |
 | Growing | In this section you will find a number of perks that will affect crop efficiency. You'll also get various types of equipment that will make it easier for you to grow plants, especially when you have more farms. Therefore, invest in the development of this tree when you have at least three breeding buildings. |
 | Selling | This category includes new fronts (which allows to increase the customer base) and options for smuggling methods. It also enables you to upgrade sales. Invest in this category from the beginning of the game. |
 | Researching | In this category you will find perks to increase the effectiveness of those aspects of gameplay that require research points. The moment of investment in this category depends on the scenario. |
