Lots of water and a makeshift boat
First, there's an extremely easy puzzle where you must create a trampoline and attach one end of the beam to one of the trampoline's loops. Then you'll see the button under the beam you're standing on. To collect it, you must do the following: open the door to the right, tie a knot to create a bridge, and lower the log to the left to be able to sail next to the button.
Note: You can unlock a special achievement (Pathfinder), if you make it to the button without the use of log raft. It can be done, but it's difficult - it requires great skill, especially in jumping.
A little further down the road, you'll encounter a closed door while sailing on the piece of wood. Tie one end to the gate, jump up and throw yourself over the gear. This will pull the gate up.
You can collect the second button by simply swinging over the water. Once you're in full swing simply let go of the rope, and then quickly pull yourself back up. Alternatively, you can use the flowing piece of wood to quickly make your way over the construction and hop on a makeshift boat.
However, you may have a problem with jumping over to the chain in order to enter the water after collecting the secret if you don't want to use the boat. It's better to try to quickly run over the wooden structure behind the gate so as to reach the floating branch in time.
Water wheel
Another mechanism is simple, but requires speed. Jump up and jump onto the chain. It will activate the spinning wheel. You need to get under the wheel (to which you are attached) and jump over to the second string on the right before you run out of yarn. Then land on a piece of wood that will come out from under the water.
Engine room
The next stage inside the engine room can be a bit problematic. Go underneath the pistons and use the spinning wheel to reach the ball of yarn (optional). To continue, you must jump across the pistons to the left and follow the ball of yarn to the edge of the screen to a new area.
Can you see the gear in the upper corner? You must make a bridge that will pull it up. Once it's wedged, go right and pull the mechanism to throw the gear in the air. Before you do this, go right and take the ball of yarn. Return to the chasm and lower yourself cautiously -there is another button there.
However, the wheel pushed further will block the branch and prevent you from jumping higher. Push it slightly and jump on the branch while holding it. As a result, it will roll onto it. Make sure that it fits well in the hole.
Push the stone you come across to the right as far as you can. The lying branch will spring up. First, however, tie the knots: one at the bottom of the branch and the other one at its end so that you will be able to pull yourself up on the stick once it is up. Next, you will have to climb at a fairly rapid pace to avoid falling rocks. You will also have to avoid them while climbing on the slope.
When you're next to the last loop enabling the exit from the hole, you can collect the penultimate button. To do this, you have to get in full and precise swing and jump over to the right side. There is a loop on the edge of the cliff there. You have to lasso it quickly and climb to the top.
The road to the top
Climb up the hill to the left. Avoid the stones by pulling yourself up on the loops, hiding next to the rock edges or jumping (that's not always enough). Right behind the ball of yarn at the top you will feel an oncoming boulder. Pull a piece of branch towards you to stop it.
Collect another ball of yarn that you'll find above. Before you go further up, climb up some more towards the top of the hill. You will find a button there.
Now climb up using the loops on the cables, and once you're next to the ball of yarn on the cable itself. Soon you will reach the ramp. Get it in full swing, moving quickly from one side to the other to be able to jump over to the next cable. Once you reach the top, the level will end and you will be rewarded a trophy: Everlasting.
