Forget what they told you, follow the light!
In Unravel 2, the light shows you the way. You only have to follow it and you shall never get lost in this world. In addition, light often shows you the maneuver you need to make, such as bouncing off walls. Look at the light and your Unravel Two experience will be smooth and seamless.
Dont be afraid of dying!
Your character in Unravel 2 can die by drowning or falling into fire. Remember to save often. Death usually doesn't mean replaying large portions of the game. Also remember that each secret you collect is instantly saved, so if you die right after collecting it, you're not losing anything.
Dont soak my yarn!
Remember that the characters in Unravel 2 will die if they stay in water for too long. Try to avoid water - if you fail, try to get out asap. You just might survive.
Dont get separated!
This applies only to players, who play in coop. If you go separate ways, you're just making things more difficult. Talk to each other, control the tension of the yarn, look after each other. You will be able to cope with any obstacle the game throws at you.
Combine characters
If you don't need both characters - join them. Why should you? Well, they look pretty cute. This also makes gameplay more efficient, since one character always seems to be dragging behind.
Yarn burns rather easily
Be careful not to go away in flames. It's enough to just expose the character to fire or a hot tile. This means instantaneous and inevitable death.
