Campaign - Forces of evil - Mission 1 - Mount Doom - part 2 | Campaign - Forces of evil LotR: Conquest Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
Fourth assignment: Kill two orc captains
Suggested class: Witch King or Nazgul
Obviously you should confirm that you want to start playing as the Witch King. He has very similar attacks to a Nazgul, but the main difference is that they're more powerful. It's important that you keep him alive for as long as possible, preferably to the moment when you have to fight Frodo. Proceed to the south [#78] and find a new lever near the gate (7 on the map). When you get to an unguarded cave (8 on the map) choose the passageway to your left in order to avoid minor problems. Eventually you should be able to get to an area occupied by a larger squad of orcs led by two captains (9 on the map).
[#78]
Both captains operate in a similar manner to archers, but they're more powerful. Your primary concerns should be to close the distance to them and to begin using Witch King's special attacks [#79]. Don't forget that you can't heal on your own and that you can't rely on the help of any mages. Collect balls of energy and try to avoid being knocked down too often. Defeat both captains before moving on.
[#79]
Fifth assignment: Take Sauron's path
Suggested class: Witch King or Nazgul
This time you'll have to begin moving west (10 on the map). Eventually you'll get to a new large cave where you'll come across a troll. You can't attack the monster with any spells, however you can throw your blade at nearby bombs [#80]. Each explosion should wound the creature. Wait for the troll to enter the cave where you fought both captains and surprise it from the back by using a well-known move. Make sure that it's safe and proceed to the exact same cave again.
[#80]
You should soon reach the area where the last gate is located [#81]. Start off by dealing with a small and weak group of orcs. Once the beasts have been eliminated, use the lever (11 on the map) to open the gate. You may proceed to the next section. Keep heading west and you'll finally get to a small campsite (12 on the map). Here's where you should help other Nazguls in getting rid of a new group of orcs. Thankfully you won't have to capture this area, because it's going to happen automatically. Watch a short cut-scene, explaining that you need to hunt down and kill Frodo.

Sixth assignment: Kill Frodo Baggins
Suggested class: Witch King or Nazgul
Defeating Frodo won't be as easy as it might seem. The hobbit is a skilled warrior and he also uses camouflage to hide his current position from you. Thankfully he won't be entirely invisible, so you shouldn't lose him as long as you pay attention to his moves. You'll also see a large yellow arrow above his head, informing you about his position. You'll have to start the duel by taking away at least 1/3 of his health and this means using some of the most powerful attacks of a Witch King or a Nazgul. Watch a new cut-scene, informing you that Frodo has retreated to Mount Doom (13 on the map). The game will give you two minutes to finish him off. Enter the mountain and go to the far end of the path to find Frodo [#82]. Be careful not to fall here, because it's going to cost you at least 20-25 seconds to return here inside a body of a new Nazgul. Killing Frodo will guarantee your win.
