Skills are the foundation of every hero. They have the greatest impact on combat, which is one of the main features in TES: Blades. Before we explain this tree, it would be a good idea to define your style of play - a one-handed weapon with a shield, or maybe a two-handed weapon? The advantages and disadvantages of both options were discussed in the following chapters of our guide.
Looking through the skills, you will see a division into a quick series of cuts, powerful attacks and shield strikes. Unlike magic, skills are activated immediately, and often an adequate sense of time determines the effectiveness of this action. Shield bash and dodging will be extremely helpful in almost every combat. Despite that, they can be assessed only in the direct confrontation with a stronger enemy.

Dodging Strike
The hero performs dodge, avoiding up to 85 points of damage to the upcoming attack, and then performs a counterattack.

- Cost of use: 135 stamina
- Requirements: level 2 of experience
Power Attack
Slow, powerful attack that deals 30 damage (or 60 points if you wield a two-handed weapon).
- Cost of skill points: 1
- Cost of use: 145 stamina
- Requirements: level 2 of experience
Quick Strikes
A quick series of two strikes that deal 20 extra points of damage (requires one-handed weapon).
- Cost of skill points: 1
- Cost of use: 205 stamina
- Requirements: level 4 of experience, Dodging Strike
Shield Bash
Block with a shield and then hit your opponent, dealing 36 damage (requires shield).
- Cost of skill points: 1
- Cost of use: 155 stamina
- Requirements: level 4 of experience, Power Attack
Adrenaline Dodge
The hero performs dodge, avoiding up to 76 points of damage to the upcoming attack and restoring 97 health points to your hero (if dodge will be executed at the last possible moment).

- Requirements: level 10 of experience, Dodging Strike
Skullcrusher
A powerful attack that deals 33 damage (65 points from two-handed weapons), which ignores 79 defense points and 147 points for enemy armor.

- Cost of use: 175 stamina
- Requirements: level 9 of experience, Power Attack
Piercing Strikes
A series of quick strikes dealing periodic 21 damage with possible additional damage from the elements that may ignore 80 points of defense of the enemy, and 11 points of his resistance to a certain element (one-handed required).

Harrying Bash
Block with a shield and then hit the enemy with it, dealing 29 damage and increasing this cooldown by 4 seconds (requires a shield).

- Requirement: level 11 of experience, Shield Bash
Focusing Dodge
The hero performs a dodge, avoiding up to 91 points of damage to the upcoming attack and reduces cooldown of all skills by 6 seconds (if dodging will be executed at the last moment).

- Cost of use: 195 stamina
- Requirements: level 17 of experience, Adrenaline Dodge
Guardbreaker
The attack deals 39 damage (77 points in the case of two-handed weapons), which hits and stuns the blocking enemy.

- Cost of use: 215 stamina
- Requirements: level 16 of experience, Skullcrusher
Venom Strikes
A series of quick strikes, dealing 27 damage over time and increasing the effectiveness of the poisons used by 10% (required weapon - one-handed).

- Cost of use: 320 stamina
- Requirements: level 18 of experience, Piercing Strikes
Staggering Bash
Block with your shield then hit the opponent with it dealing 45 damage and stun the enemy if will not defend (requires a shield).
- Skill points cost: 4
- Cost of use: 235 stamina
- Requirements: level 18 of experience, Harrying Bash
Renewing Dodge
The hero performs a dodge, avoiding up to 84 points of damage to the upcoming attack and regenerates 338 magicka points (if dodging will be executed at the last possible moment).

- Requirements: level 24 of experience, Focusing Dodge
Indomitable Smash
During the execution of this attack, all resistance increases to 125 points, and the main character gets rid of all negative conditions (poisoning, arson, etc.), but the attack itself is not enhanced by additional damage bonus.

- Requirements: level 23 of experience, Guardbreaker
Recovery Strikes
A series of quick strikes dealing periodic 28 damage (28 points, in the case of two-handed weapons). Skill can be used at any time (except paralysis).

- Cost of use: 375 stamina
- Requirements: level 25 of experience, Venom Strikes
Reflecting Bash
Directs up to 33 points of damage received during a shield strike (requires a shield) to the enemy.
- Skill points cost: 5
- The cost: 290 stamina
- Requirements: level 25 character, Staggering Bash
Reckless Fury
The hero gets in a 5 seconds rage, increasing damage and gaining immunity to daze and death. During a rage, you can't use block and other skills.
