Find out the latest news of Vaghen - secondary objective

Inspect the vending machine on the left side of the street. Use your wallet on the machine and turn the handle to the right. When the machine's hand goes up, grab it, pull it down, and pick up a cheap souvenir from inside.

Take a look at the green posters on the wall of the building.

At the end of the street, you will find a staircase - go down and examine the piece of paper hanging above the bicycle.

Find the Rozes' old house

You'll find the Rozes' house on the right side of the street. You'll recognize it by the sign above the door with the big letter R.

Talk to the saleswoman at the Higel Shop

Enter the shop and talk to the saleswoman.

Find a way of getting through the service entrance

Examine the shelf at the counter to your right and place the cheap souvenir you got from the vending machine there.

Locate Dana's old bedroom

Go up to the first floor and go through the door on the left into the room. On the desk, you will find a picture of the Rozes and Zimmer families. Use the door with the colorful stained glass window and enter the kitchen.

In the kitchen, on the right side, you will find a photo of the destroyed Rozes' house. Take a look at the photograph and go out into the hallway.

Go to the second floor. The corridor by the door on the left will be blocked. Enter the bathroom through the door, then go to the room through the stained glass door. Look through the hole in the floor. Kate will see a photo of Dana in one of the cardboard boxes.

Inspect the bed in the room and exit through the door leading to the hallway.

Examine the cardboard boxes blocking the hallway - you will find a picture of Dana with her parents. Return to the hallway through the room and bathroom and go to the attic. Inspect the wall blocking the entrance to the attic.

Return to the first floor of the house. Examine the photo of Dana in her room that you will find on a shelf. Examine at the wallpaper and clock in the photo.

Find a way to enter Dana's bedroom

Go down to the first floor of the building and return to the shop. Go out the street and turn left into a small alley.

Move the camera up and down using the arrows on the screen. Examine the following building elements:

1. a window on the top floor,
2. stairs to the top floor,
3. the 2nd floor window,
4. the 1st floor window,
5. a hidden staircase under the 1st floor,
6. a stair mechanism on the left side of the 1st floor,
7. a pipe at the 2nd-floor level.

During the cutscene, choose Oskar to climb the pipe. Playing as Oscar, follow the directions that appear on the screen. When Oskar gets stuck, switch the character to Kate and help him.

Again as Oskar, climb up the pipe to the 1st floor of the building. When you can't squeeze through the railing, return on the pipe and climb to the 2nd floor of the building. This time, the way will be blocked by a pigeon. Switch the character to Kate and pick up the stone, then throw it at the pipe by Oscar and the pigeon.

Switch the character to Oscar and go down to the first floor of the building to lower the stairs. After the next cutscene, use Oscar to break the glass in the window.

Look for the clues about Dana

Pick up the strange sketch - right part lying on the floor between the closet and the piano.

Pick up a diploma from the floor, lying near the bed. Inspect the item closely. On the back of it, you will find painted symbols.

Move the bed and pick up the missing sketch piece.

Examine the chest by the bed. You will find a clue to the code on the back of the diploma and the strange sketch.

When setting the code combination, keep in mind that the last two parts of the lock have the same symbols on the different parts. Arrange the symbols according to the picture above and change the camera view to the side of the lock.

The lock should look like the sketch from the piece of paper you picked up earlier. When all the pieces of the lock are correctly arranged, press the button on the side.

Move the buckles, open the chest, and read the diary.
