Where to upgrade the watering can?
You can use your watering can to water three fields instead of one. You can buy the upgrade (Copper Watering Can) from Clint, the local blacksmith. It costs 2000g and 5 units of Copper Bar. Remember: upgrading takes one day, so plan everything beforehand - it is best to bring the can to the smith one day before the rainfall!
How to upgrade the backpack?
It is not that obvious to buy a new backpack in Stardew Valley. You cannot buy one from the vendor. Instead... note the counter next to Pierre, where there is a backpack! The first upgrade to 24 slots costs 2000 g.
Where is Robin's lost axe?
ON the message board, next to Pierre's store, you can find a mission from Robin. She lost her axe. You will find the axe here on the map:
Where are the Major's trunks?
The Major seems to lead a double life. You can find his trunks in...the bedroom in Marnie's house... Get them back and finish the quest.
How to restore the Community Center?
This quest starts after the cutscene. walk inside and find the glowing plaque. You will be unable to read it. On the next day, in your mail box, you will find a message from the local mage. Go to his place to learn the language of forest creatures. From now on, you can upgrade the local Community Center by interacting with the glowing plaque. You simply have to provide the necessary items for each of the rooms.
How to open the sewers?
Sewers in Stardew Valley can be opened with the Rusty Key. You obtain this item after you return 60 items (minerals, or artifacts) to the local museum.
Weird, spooky noises on rainy days?
On rainy days, you can hear spooky noises and wailing. Unfortunately, as of now, it is unknown what it is and what makes them, although players' theories abound. One thing is sure: Stardew Valley is full of secrets!
What do you use sap for?
You use sap to produce a simple fertilizer - up to the second experience level, you can craft such fertilizer for your crops.
What do you plant in Spring?
Strawberries!
What do you plant in summer and autumn?
Plant corn on the first day of summer. It will yield crops even in autumn!
How to obtain Junimo?
Junimo Plush is an item that you can obtain on the 28th day of EACH season of the year. You simply have to go to the playground in the city and shake the bush directly behind the climbing wall. The item has no value and you cannot do anything with it.
Do you feed your pet?
Yes and no. Neither dog nor cat play any vital role in Stardew Valley apart from entertaining one - you do not have to look after them, or feed them. They are completely self-sufficient. Of course, you can do that, and pour water into the bowl outside of the house.
Do I have to look after hens?
You do. Animals do not die, so they cannot be starved to death. Still, they stop giving eggs. Look after your hens and you will ensure eggs from them.
Where to find iron ore and iron bar?
At the beginning of the game, it is very difficult to find Iron. Iron ores appear in the mine, in abundance, as late as on the 40-45th level, so they are unobtainable for beginning players. This is why, the only ways to obtain iron then is to:
- Search the waste bin next to the blacksmith's (yes, there are random items in bins! Note: searching waste bins in front of witnesses causes loss of trust from them!)
- Buy a bar of iron from the blacksmith for 150 g.
If you are going to seach waste bins, do that with no witnesses. What you find inside depends on the owner's occupation!
Where to find coal?
You can find coal in the coal mine - rarely, it drops out of stones that you crush. Also, you can find coal after you hit worms with the hoe and, if necessary, you can buy it from the blacksmith, for 150 g.
