On this page of the Sons of the Forest guide you will find a list of all the weapons available in the game. You will also find tips on their locations.
Sons of the Forest offers a wide range of weapons. Each of them has different statistics. This means that they can have different damage and block stats. You can check the stats of the selected weapon by hovering over it in the inventory.
We have also marked the weapons' locations on our interactive map.
Melee weapons
The game offers a wide arsenal of melee weapons. The list is as follows.

Katana | No | You can find it in the bunker in the eastern part of the map. A Maintenance Keycard is required to enter. |
Guitar | No | This weapon can be found in the complex that leads to the cave in the east of the map. It is lying at the bar in the restaurant. A Maintenance Keycard is required to enter. |
Chainsaw | No | It is located in the same complex as the guitar. You will pull it out of the body in the movie room. |
Golf club | No | One of them can be found on the golf course in the north-western part of the map. |
Stun baton | No | This weapon is lying in a small water reservoir near the cave on the coast, where the line gun is. |
Machete | No | You will find it in the very north of the map. It is located on the beach near the abandoned pontoons. |
Ranged weapons
The game also has weapons that can be used to fight at a greater distance. Their list is as follows.

Shotgun | No | This weapon is buried with the transmitter located in the northernmost part of the map. You need a shovel to get it. |
Compound Bow | No | You will find it in Maintenance Hatch B. This place is located in the south-western part of the map, near a cannibal camp. You have to dig it out with a shovel. |

Stun gun | No | It is located in a cave on the east coast. This is where the rope gun is also located. |
