About the SOMA guide SOMA Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 26 November 2018
There are several different types of text highlights used in the guide. Those are:
- Bold - bolding was used in order to mark important places, as well as items, which do not belong to any other group. Thanks to that, they are easier to spot.
- Blue color was used to mark all the documents, recordings, tablets, texts, and all types of collectibles found in the game.
- Green color was used to mark the information coming straight from the author of the guide, which are not directly connected to the guide itself.
- Orange color was used to mark important story items, as well as characters, which are needed in order to push the story further.
A little bit of information straight from the author of the guide:
- I do know that the term "growth" is wrong and I should use the proper in-game name - WAU. I called them "growths" because the correct nomenclature can be learned by the player further on in the game, and I didn't want to spoil anything for anyone.
- There are a few instances in the guide in which I said that the main character regenerates health on his own - I was referring to the "visibility" of the hero. In order to regenerate the health of your character, you need to find a WAU connector and "attach" yourself into it.
- The walkthrough in the guide was divided into missions as I saw it properly - there is no (as far as I am aware) division into missions, chapters and so on, and I think that I managed to do so quite logically.
- I tried to find all the "collectibles" in the game, but they aren't marked in any way, because the term "collectibles" does not function in the game at all. If someone finds anything that was not mentioned in the guide, please post that info in the comments section so I can add it to the guide.
