SnowRunner: Cargo - why can't I unload it? SnowRunner guide, tips
Last update: 22 May 2021
In this section of the SnowRunner game guide you will find out why it is sometimes impossible to unload the item after it has been delivered to the specified location. We suggest how to complete the task and unload the truck.
When completing transport missions and contracts in SnowRunner, you may encounter a situation when you bring the ordered goods to the destination, but there is no way to unload them and complete the mission. This can happen for several reasons.:
- You brought the materials in the wrong order.
- Did not activate the task at the launch site
- Did not "pack" goods after using the crane
You brought the materials in the wrong order.
Some missions require the delivery of materials in the order seen in the transport bill. These include rebuilding major bridges on the map, which first require metal construction and then finishing them with wooden planks. In that case, stick to the list of materials you see in the corner of the screen or the job description.
Did not activate the task at the launch site
There are several types of missions in SnowRunner, and unfortunately they differ in terms of management. Contracts can be activated from the function menu level, but smaller tasks start when you enter a designated area on the map and activate it. At the beginning of the game, this can be very confusing, as tasks can be seen all the time on the list, including where to take and deliver the goods.
Moreover, some tasks can be started at the destination of the transport, so there is nothing in the way of loading the car, getting to the location, activating the task, and instantly unloading the vehicle at the end of the mission. Some, however, activate in a completely different location, not associated with the end of the route. In this case, it is not worth acting rashly, because there is a long way to go.
Did not "pack" goods after using the crane
Some missions require cargo to be loaded using a crane. This can be seen not only in the order details but also by the cargo, which has a corresponding icon above. If you have a vehicle with a closed frame, nothing will fall off after loading such materials and you may easily miss the need to "pack" such cargo.
After unplugging the hook, you must enter the function menu and select "pack Cargo" - then the icon above the cargo will disappear. Without that, you won't be able to unload the vehicle at your destination and complete the mission.
